Black Deer Festival Accessibility Information

Black Deer aims to cater for all access needs to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time at the festival.

THE LAND

The festival is held on a green field site with flat and undulating areas throughout. As with most outdoor sites the terrain can be uneven in places.
 

SERVICES

Black Deer Festival offers several facilities and services onsite including:
– Dedicated Accessible Campsite – Close to accessible carpark and arena entrance
– Dedicated Accessible Car Park
– Accessible viewing areas – Capacity is limited and at busy times those able to stand may be asked to make way for those unable to
– Wheelchair charging
– Refrigerated medicine storage
– 24-hour Medical & Welfare Centre
– Accessible Toilets – Located across the festival
– Accessible Shower Rooms – Located within the accessible campsite
 
Assistance Dogs are welcome onsite.
Unfortunately, we do not have BSL / Sign Language interpreters at the festival.
 

CARER / PA TICKETS

Free Carer / Personal Assistance passes are available with the purchase of a festival entry ticket (Day or Weekend) from the festival’s ticket page.
 
These tickets are strictly for those who need them and will be allocated to you on the basis that supporting documentation is provided to accessibility@blackdeerfestival.com between the 1st April 2023 and 3rd June 2023.
 

TRAVEL & PARKING

Free dedicated Accessible Parking (Day or Weekend) is available from the festival’s ticket page.
 
These tickets are strictly for those who need them and will be allocated to you on the basis that supporting documentation is provided to accessibility@blackdeerfestival.com between the 1st April 2023 and 3rd June 2023
 
Customers confirmed for accessible parking will have their parking tickets emailed to them before arrival to site.
 
We only have a limited quantity of Accessible Parking Spaces. Customers who arrive with a Blue Badge but have not pre-purchased may be required to park in general parking for free.
 
The Accessible Car Park is located close to the Accessible Camping field and Arena Entrance.
 

CAMPING

A dedicated Accessible Campsite is located close to the Accessible Carpark and Arena Entrance. The Accessibility team are based in this campsite and will be able to assist if required.
 
Spaces in the Accessible Campsite are limited, and you must apply to the Accessibility team when applications open in early 2023.
 
If you are bringing a live-in vehicle (including caravans) into the Accessible Campsite you will need to purchase a live-in vehicle pass (1 per vehicle) from the festival’s ticket page.
Electric hook-up is available when purchasing your live-in vehicle pass.
