Curators Desertscene return to The Roadhouse in 2022. One of the most popular destinations in our land, this is where you’ll hear the growl of the counterculture. Carving out a space celebrating the very best in the heavier side of Americana, The Roadhouse is a celebration of underground music and all that comes with it: custom bike builders, vintage vehicles, exclusive merchandise and the most talked about bar of the weekend.
 
We’re thrilled Desertscene are back and proud to present a line-up that will make your teeth itch: Orange Goblin, The Picturebooks, ASG, Steak, The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell, Josiah, Jonny Halifax Invocation and Black Orchids.
 

 
“After a lot of sitting around and waiting to get back to playing live, we are delighted to announce that we will be joining the amazing line-up at Black Deer Festival in June,” says Orange Goblin frontman Ben Ward. “Black Deer is bringing together the top names from country, blues and Americana – but thanks to our long-time friends at Desertscene, our worlds of stoner, doom and metal are also effortlessly tied together by the true essence of rock ‘n’ roll!”
 
Highlights not to miss will include The Roadhouse favourites Steak’s huge slab of raw and juicy rock, the high octane 70s rock celebrations of The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell and the expansive instrumentation and catchy rhythms of Black Orchids.

 
Black Deer partners Harley Davidson will also be on-site, amongst the custom motorcycles and vintage vehicles, with their revolutionary JumpStart Motorcycle Experience… and that’s something all lovers of The Roadhouse won’t want to miss!
