Thank you to our wonderful Black Deer community for the hugely encouraging reaction to last week’s date change announcement. We remain very grateful. Nothing has changed and, following the latest Government guidelines, Black Deer Festival 2021 will still take place just one week later than scheduled, from June 25-27. This means that, due to the change of festival date, we’re currently reworking the line-up previously announced and talking to new artists about joining us, too. May we ask you to please bear with us: we are working around the clock to shift the entire festival to a new date and to offer you the very best weekend in your favourite roots playground.
The process of releasing a festival line-up is complex with artists re-evaluating their global tours as the remainder of 2021 and then 2022 start to come into focus. We are an independent festival swimming in a sea of giants and we have to make the right decisions. Many of your favourite names already announced for Black Deer 2021 with be with us this summer… on that, you have our word.
But we’ve never been a festival all about the ‘main stage’. We’re currently exploring every avenue to continue to present the boldest, freshest and most diverse line-up of Americana culture around. The Live Fire chefs you have grown to love will still be with us, alongside all the usual wonderful street food, drink and family fun you’ve come to expect in the deer park.
Stick with us, play your part in the ever-evolving story of Americana and let’s build a new world together starting June 25.
Get your tickets while you still can and we’ll be in touch next week with exciting news…
