CAMPSITE OPENING TIMES


General, Pre-Pitched and Accessible camping areas will be open from 16:00 on Thursday 16 June for those with an early entry pass. If you have not purchased an early entry pass, they will be open from 09:00 on Friday 17 June.
Fancy Camping and Live Ins will open from 09:00 Friday 17 June.
All campsites will close at 12:00 on Monday 20 June.
 
THURSDAY ENTERTAINMENT

The Yard will be open on Thursday 16 June for those with an early entry pass. The Arena will open on Friday 17 June.

 
IF I'M CAMPING, WHAT AREAS CAN I ACCESS?

All camping tickets give access to the Arena, Yard & General Camping field.
Only Fancy Camping ticket holders have access to the Fancy Camping field.
Only Live In’s ticket holders have access to the Live In’s field.
Only Accessible camping ticket holders have access to the Accessible camping field. Non-Camping ticket holders are not permitted to access any of the campsites.

 
CAN I BRING MY CAR INTO THE CAMPSITE?

No, all cars must be parked in the car park.
If you are towing a caravan you will need to park the towing vehicle in the live ins / fancy camping car park.

 
CAN I SLEEP IN MY CAR IN THE CAR PARK?

No, sleeping in the car parks is not permitted.

 
CAMPFIRES

Customers are not permitted to start campfires onsite. The festival will operate campfires every evening across the site where you can soak up the atmosphere.

 
BBQS

BBQs are welcome in the campsites! Please make sure you use the designated areas and raised blocks to put the BBQ on, so we don’t damage the land.
Any BBQs not in these designated areas will be extinguished.
Don’t ever place a BBQ inside or near your tent. BBQs release fatal Carbon Monoxide even when they cool down.
Please dispose of your BBQs in the metal bins provided in the BBQ areas.

 
SHOWERS

Showers are located in the general campsite. Premium showers can be found in the Fancy Camping field for customers with a Fancy Camping ticket.
A dedicated Accessible Shower is located in the accessible camping area.

 
HOTELS & OFFSITE ACCOMMODATION

If camping isn’t your thing, check out our Fancy Camping options which are now on sale for a more luxurious stay.
Otherwise, there are plenty of hotels in the local area.

 
CAN I RESERVE A CAMPING SPACE?

Camping spots in general camping is unreserved and on a first come first serve basis.

 
CAMPSITE SHOP

TROLLEYS

A trolley can be a really useful way to get everything you need for your stay from the car park to your camping spot.
You can purchase trolleys from outdoor and camping retailers prior to your stay.
Please note that trolleys are only permitted in the arena if used for young children.

 
LOCKERS

Please reduce the number of valuables you bring to the festival and keep any you do bring with you secure. Lockers are available in the arena and the campsite. These can be purchased in advance here.

 
PHONE CHARGING

Phone charging is available via the Lockers in the arena and the campsite. These can be purchased in advance here.

 
CASH MACHINES

Available in the arena. There is a charge per withdrawal.

 
FAMILY CAMPING

We don’t have a separate area for Family Camping. The general campsite is secure with plenty of space and easy access to facilities onsite.

 
LEAVING TENTS & CAMPING EQUIPMENT

Please take your tent and camping equipment home with you – Eridge Park is a beautiful place home to wildlife, and we wish to leave it how we found it.
There is no guarantee of your tent going to charity, it will likely end up in landfill as they can’t be recycled.
If you are a charity and would like to salvage tents & camping equipment after the festival, please email info@blackdeerfestival.com who will discuss with you.

 
LIVE-INS: CONVERTED VEHICLES

We only allow campervans, motorhomes, caravans, and trailer tents. Converted vehicles are allowed if legally road-worthy and able to fit in the pitch size.
Caravans and campervans are in the same field.

 
LIVE IN VEHICLE / CARAVAN DROP-OFF

Unfortunately, we can’t take delivery of an unoccupied vehicle and non-ticket holders aren’t allowed within the festival.
You must deliver and collect your live-in vehicle or caravan yourself.

SLEEPING IN TENTS

Due to safety precautions, we are unable to allow tents to be positioned next to live in vehicles. Sleeping in awnings is also not permitted.
