THE ESSENTIALS

– Ticket – If you have been sent an E-Ticket we recommend printing a copy or downloading to your phone.
– Phone and battery pack
– Sun cream, hat and sunglasses
– Black Deer is a cashless festival, bring your credit/debit cards and/or digital cards/wallets on phones. Read more here.
– Water bottle – water stations are located across the festival site to refill
– Photo ID
– Hand sanitiser
– Suitable footwear – the festival is held in open countryside
– Warm and wet weather clothing and remember to pack for all weathers.

 

IF CAMPING, REMEMBER:

– Trolley – helpful to get everything you need for your stay from the car park to your camping spot. You can purchase trolleys from outdoor and camping retailers prior to your stay.
– Tent, tent pegs and a mallet
– Comfy sleeping bag
– Warm clothing – It can get chilly at night
– Torch
– Bin bag – help keep Eridge Park litter free
– Snacks – we have a huge range of food traders, but snacks are always handy in the campsite
– Coffee cup – help us reduce the amount of single use cups used at the event.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

For the safety and security of everyone at the festival there are specific items which you can’t bring to site. Everyone will be subject to search on each entry or exit to the Arena and Campsite.
You should only bring what you can afford to lose as any items confiscated at the gate will be disposed of accordingly.

CAMPING CHAIRS

For 2023 the festival is permitting camping chairs and stools to be taken into the Arena. There’s no need to pre-register with the accessibility team, but please be aware of others around you. We do ask that you use consideration, ensuring not to place chairs where they can cause an obstruction, in front of stages or in busy walkways. In the interest of safety, we may ask you to reposition your chair, please respect our team and relocate your chair.
 
 

ALCOHOL POLICY

Alcohol can only be brought into the campsites (not arena) by those aged 18 and over. All alcohol must be in cans, plastic bottles or bag-in-box as no glass is allowed on site. Each person is allowed enough for personal consumption.
 

DRUG POLICY

Black Deer has a strict policy that does not tolerate drug use. You will be searched on entry to the campsite and arena, and anyone found with illegal substances will be handed to the police. Please note that all new psychoactive substances including nitrous oxide are also prohibited.
