THE PAUL DUNTON ORCHESTRA

Singer-songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric mix of alternative, folk and pop with a unique classical twist. The Orchestra performs Paul’s own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards from a wide range of artists. The Orchestra is comprised of multiple violins and cellos, flute, bass, guitar and percussion, Paul himself on keys/vocals and his lead vocalists, Charlotte Andrew and Poppy Raine.

Paul and his Orchestra regularly perform at concerts, festivals and private events throughout the UK and internationally, including headlining the Theatrium Wilhelmstraße Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany and an 8 state tour of the USA which culminated in a spectacular roof-top performance on top of the New York Strand Hotel. Following a sell out headline concert at London’s Union Chapel, Increased attention and success led to Paul and the orchestra being featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul’s songs, ‘Don’t Forget’. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours.

The new single ‘Give Me A Reason’ is set for release this summer which will be available via all renowned digital retailers which will be accompanied by a new video. Paul & The Orchestra have an exciting summer ahead with Main Stage slots at Black Deer Festival, Pub In The Park, The Mela Festival, Create Festival, Local & Live Festival and a 2 week tour to Austin, Texas in September.
