THIRTY TIGERS ONES TO WATCH

“We’ve spent two decades curating a roster of storytellers, quality songwriters and top live performers across many genres,” says Thirty Tigers Head of European Operations, Sara Silver. “Our musical heart is frequently in sync with Black Deer Festival.”

She’s not wrong. Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Ryan Bingham, Emily Barker, Ida Mae, Lucero and Robert Vincent are just some of the Thirty Tigers-affiliated artists to have graced a Black Deer stage. “We’re one of the original artist service companies,” reveals Sara. “Our philosophy is about nurturing the development, globally and digitally, of Thirty Tigers artists. We have one criteria: the narrative has to be as strong as the music.”

In our search for great new music, from both emerging and established artists alike, we often find our paths will cross with the pioneering Nashville-based independent. Thirty Tigers releases music from artists who walk the fine lines in between country, folk and roots, while the label’s rich back catalogue is one that measures the distance between what Americana is and can be.
