The Marcus King Band cancellation – Noble Jacks to replace

Black Deer Festival Noble Jacks

We’re sad to announce that The Marcus King Band will no longer be joining us in the deer park this month. A full statement from the band can be read below and we wish them well.

We’re delighted to reveal that the high-energy foot-stompin’ rhythms of the brilliant Noble Jacks will replace MKB on Friday June 21 at Eridge Park. Festival co-founders Gill Tee and Deb Shilling said: “Noble Jacks are a great band and we’re so happy they are able to join us at Black Deer – see you in the deer park!”

The Marcus King Band statement:

“We’re terribly sorry to deliver some bad news: our summer European tour is now postponed and we’ll no longer be at festivals on your side of the pond as planned. This year has been a whirlwind of excitement, but also very hectic. We need to take time to rest up, focus on self-care, and get prepared for big news to come. This was an extremely difficult decision, one we don’t take lightly. It breaks our hearts to disappoint y’all like this because we’re so grateful to be able to travel and perform for our extended MKB Family. We pride ourselves on fully delivering every show and need to recharge to give it our all. It’ll be a while longer before we can hang together, BUT WE PROMISE to make it up to you when we reunite! Thank you for understanding and lots of Love, THE MARCUS KING BAND”.
