Black Deer was hailed ‘Promoter of the Year’ at the 16th annual UK Festival Awards in London last night.
We were handed another feather for our trucker caps at the glittering event held inside London’s famous Troxy, alongside fellow winners All Points East, Download and Camp Bestival.
“We are so proud to be named ‘Promoter of the Year’,” said festival co-founders Gill Tee and Debs Shilling.
“Our team works so hard around the year to make Black Deer a success and we are thrilled that, once again, they have been recognised for their outstanding work.”
An industry panel decide on the ‘Promoter of the Year’ award and Black Deer was nominated alongside Barn on the Farm, Fly Events, From the Fields, Little Gay Brother and Statfold Barn Festival. Hosted this year by rapper Doc Brown, UK Festival Awards assemble panels of 20 industry judges for each category.
“It’s incredible to once again walk away with an award,” say Gill and Debs. “Thanks to our community for continuing to support Black Deer… we can’t wait to welcome you back to the deer park in 2020.”
